What we recommend: dry clean is best, but if you're washing at home hand wash cold and hang or lay flat to dry -- never use heat!
What happens in our experience if you just toss it in the washing machine and dryer: the base fabric might shrink at a different rate than the trim, making it slightly lumpy! We don't recommend it!
