TLDR: Overall I was satisfied with my purchase! From what I paid, I definitely think I received a good value, however the circumstances of my purchase are a little bit different than normal (details below).
Usually I avoid mystery bags because I am always afraid to get a bad bag, but they had a sale going on (buy one get one free) and I felt like that significantly increased my chances of getting something good.
I would say I liked 4/6 of the items I got - one bag was a 3/3 hit rate and the other was a 1/3. So if you do not have this sale going on, the chances are a bit risky.
I marked two items as a miss not because I did not like them, but because there is no way for me to actually wear them:
- I received a teddy bear cuff that I would have to cut a hand off to wear, haha. It is cute but unfortunately the cuff has no way to adjust the sizing. It is a solid metal tube. I ordered the smaller sized bag because the sizes listed would have fit my wrist, but I did not really think I had to take my hand into account as well... I will either have to crack the tube open myself with a power tool or give it away to someone with super small hands.
- The other item was the "Toxic! Spiked hoop earrings" which I absolutely LOVED when I saw them but was really disappointed to feel how heavy they were (this is mentioned on the item's description page btw). As much as I would love to sport these, my little lobes simply cannot support them.
The items that I CAN wear I am very happy with: 2 pairs of earrings (8 ball hoops and safety pin hoops) and 2 necklaces (woven ball choker and spiral star). I love wearing them to work and matching them with outfits.
